UNDERSTANDING HOME EDUCATION
WMCC is run by Home Educating Parent, Kim Wildborne and she is aware of the new schools bill and the pressure on parents from the LEA. To help with this all our Home Ed classes allow young people to chart their progress simply and easily using emoji stickers, tick charts for tricks and up cycling crafts, all to take home to help document this Friday morning.
All classes are both for beginners or those with some experience (and would call themselves an improver). The classes begin with warm-ups followed by learning a variety of skills, with a focus on precision and skills progression. These sessions help build the foundation and building blocks to progress to the next level of training, instilling a good strong foundation in a safe and structured fashion, and meeting new young people and Home Ed families.
Parents are politely requested to leave the room during the class as it can affect some children's ability to focus.
Classes are weekly and can be booked as a block of sessions or individually.
