The Birmingham Young Actors Company is a group of young people aged 8-19 years, from a variety of backgrounds, performing on stage and in film and TV. The Young Actors meet every Saturday during term time 12-2pm and develop work and skills for public stage performance, TV and Film casting opportunities. Joining the group is through audition only so please fill in the audition request form below.
Run by professional working actors, the Young Actors focuses on developing the acting skills of young people, whilst providing them with as many professional performance and skills opportunities as possible. The Birmingham Young Actors Company also acts as casting agent, specialising in working with young people. The Young Actors are always working through audition preparation and script reading skills in order to help them achieve successful auditions.
Some of our Young Actors casting and performance work includes:
Network Rail advertising, Channel 5 documentaries, Maverick TV's Embarrassing Bodies and the 2016 Blockbuster 'The Girl With All The Gifts' starring Glenn Close and Gemma Aterton.
